Impact of NGO Working for Skill Development

The Government of India's flagship programme, the Skill India Mission, was introduced in 2015 and offers a strong institutional framework at the Center and in the States for the execution of skilling efforts throughout the nation. The Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship is the Nodal Agency responsible for overseeing the coordination of all national skill development activities. The programme is a component of the 2015 National Policy on Skill Development and Entrepreneurship, a revised version of the 2009 National Policy on Skill Development (NPSD).

●     Under this scheme, loans are provided to self-employed beneficiaries up to three crores and to salaried beneficiaries up to one crore. They can easily pay off the remaining sum within the 20-year period if they have a reliable source of income.

The National Skill Development Programme seeks to empower young people in India by giving them the education and training necessary to find employment across a range of industries and is also helping family planning NGOs. Additionally, it raises someone's productivity and knowledge. The strategy also seeks to educate over 40 crore individuals and build a labor force. It does this by providing a huge selection of free classes and courses.

Through a system that is focused on results and in line with current business requirements, the National Skill Development Mission and NGO working for Skill Development account for the events. The convergence, institutional training, work abroad, leveraging of public infrastructure, and sustainable livelihoods are all theoretically covered by this plan.

The Skill Development Program has been introduced by HLFPPT, a government-approved NGO. Its objectives are to give young people options for sustainable livelihoods and to produce a cadre of trained human resources through high-quality training.

Through an NGO for skill development across India, the NGO working for skill development has effectively trained students in a variety of courses in 14 states since its founding in 2015. (UP, Kerala, Himachal Pradesh, Odisha, Bihar, Rajasthan, Maharashtra, Andhra Pradesh, Assam, Telangana, Madhya Pradesh, Jharkhand, Mizoram, and Chhattisgarh).
